Grounded in your documents.

Retrieval is scoped to your knowledge base. The assistant cites the source of every answer so your team can verify and trust the response.

Deployed inside your walls.

We deploy inside Slack, Teams, or a private web app — with role-aware access and full audit logging. Nothing leaves your perimeter.

Frequently asked

Answers, on the record.

What is an internal AI assistant?
An internal AI assistant is a private LLM-powered chat interface grounded in a company's own documents — SOPs, contracts, product specs, meeting notes — using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) so employees can query institutional knowledge in natural language.
How is this different from using ChatGPT at work?
Public ChatGPT has no access to your internal documents and cannot cite your policies. An internal AI assistant is grounded in your knowledge base, cites the source of every answer, runs inside your security perimeter, and can be scoped by role and department.
Is my company data secure?
Yes. Forge Labs deploys internal assistants on private infrastructure (your Cloudflare, AWS, or Vercel account), with data never used for public model training. Role-aware access, audit logging, and encryption at rest are standard.
What is RAG (retrieval-augmented generation)?
RAG is a pattern where an AI model retrieves relevant chunks from a private knowledge base before generating an answer, and cites those sources in the response. This grounds answers in your own documents rather than the model's training data.
Where can we deploy the assistant?
Forge Labs deploys internal AI assistants inside Slack, Microsoft Teams, a private web app, or as an API for embedding in existing tools. Deployment location is dictated by where the team already works.
